assuming the pick-up trucks trailers and road conditions are exactly the same which vehicle will take a longer distance to stop
NemiM [27]

I’ve answered this before so I know the question is missing an

important given and that given is: 1 has an

empty trailer and the other has a fully loaded one.

So, it would be the fully loaded trailer that would take a longer distance to

stop because a lot of weight is being pulled, and when the brakes are started,

the fully loaded trailer is more like pushing against the truck.

What is the product of 4(8x + 5).
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

x = 20/32

Step-by-step explanation:

you have to distribute first.

1) times 4 by all the nubmers and figures inside the pharanthesese and so you get 32x + 20

2) you have to solve for x and so you move the 20 to the other side and get 32x = 20

3) you then divided both sides by 32 to get x by itself and you get x = 20/32

A class had 2 3/4 yards of twine. Five students each used 1/8 of a yard.
zzz [600]
5 students used 1/8 each

5 · 1/8 = 5/8

Subtract 5/8 from 2 3/4 to get your answer

First, make it the same denominator: 8

2 3/4 = 2 6/8

2 6/8 - 5/8 = 2 1/8

There is about 2 yarn left. Exact amount left: 2 1/8

Hope this helps :)
