Dementia is compose of symptoms affecting the mental cognition like reasoning and memory. It also would affect the activities of daily living and communication abilities. Dementia would start with forgetfulness then confusion grows and it would be hard to recall names and faces,the person would ask repetitious questions,having poor personal hygiene and poor decision making. Alzheimer's falls under Dementia. It would include symptoms such as depression, apathy, impaired judgment, behavioral changes and disorientation.
