Harrizon [31]

Answer: The words of a wise man brings him honor, but a fool is destroyed by his own words.

Explanation:

The thing that the verse teaches us about our speech is that "the words of a wise man brings him honor, but a fool is destroyed by his own words".

When we listen to the words that comes from the mouth of a wise person, we derive benefit from listening because the person is wise unlike that of the fools and his words being about his destruction.

Im in the test right now help please lol
malfutka [58]
The last sentence makes sense because it is most unlike the others. The second to last makes sense as well because of the word “hoped” but it is still similar to the first 2. I would pick the last sentence.

Based on the excerpt, which best describes Dicey’s mood?
Vesnalui [34]

Answer:

She is having a hard time feeling safe in almost all situations.

Explanation:

The best that describes Dicey’s mood is: "She is having a hard time feeling safe in almost all situations".

From the excerpt, we can see that Dicey was really having a hard time feeling safe. She seems to be nervous and disturbed. Her imaginations were not settled - she seems to imagine that the car was flying down the highway. I believe it was her imaginations that made her feel that faces might appear in the windows of the car at any time to ask angry questions.
