The correct answer is A) they helped to discredit totalitarian and military-based regimes.

A significant result of the Nuremberg trials was that they helped to discredit totalitarian and military-based regimes. They condemned totalitarianism and militarism.

The Nuremberg trials were held in the city of Nuremberg, Germany, from 1946 to 1947. The Allied Force wanted to prosecute Nazi members, so they created these military tribunals. Judges from the United States, the Soviet Union, Great Britain, and France presided over the hearings of 21 Nazi elements. Due to the Nuremberg trials, the Nazis were held accountable for their actions. Twelve of them were sentenced to the death penalty.

Inventions of the electric light, steam engine and railroads helped in the growth of U.S's Industrial boom in the 1900s during the Industrial Revolution bringing a rise for more labor. The invention of the railroad system, for example, made it possible to transport goods over long distances or a short period resulting in the creation of more jobs in various industries (Mantoux, 2013). These inventions of the industrial revolution affected workers, i.e., workers were paid poorly, child labor was introduced, cities were crowded and filled with diseases (Nelson, 1996).

Why did other city-states want to form the Peloponnesian League?
Assoli18 [71]
The League was founded so that Sparta might protect itself against both a possible uprising of Sparta's helots and regional rival Argos. Thucydides in his History of the Peloponnesian War describes the workings of the League. Members sent delegates to meetings where each city held one vote
