How can I find a slope with (2,1) and (0,-2)

Mathematics

This is how to find a slope:

y2 - y1 over like a fraction on

x2 - x1

So we would do

-2 - 1 over

0 - 2

and you would get the slope of

-3/-2

Since there can't be two negatives it turns into a positive fraction like this

3/2 = Slope

If you want to graph this it would rise 3 points in the y axis and run 2 points in the x axis

If the simple interest on $7,000 for 7 years is $2,940, then what is the interest rate?
ddd [48]

~~~~~~ \textit{Simple Interest Earned} \\\\ I = Prt\qquad \begin{cases} I=\textit{interest earned}\dotfill & \$2940\\ P=\textit{original amount deposited}\dotfill & \$7000\\ r=rate\to r\%\to \frac{r}{100}\\ t=years\dotfill &7 \end{cases} \\\\\\ 2940=7000(\frac{r}{100})(7)\implies \cfrac{2940}{7000(7)}=\cfrac{r}{100}\implies \cfrac{3}{50}=\cfrac{r}{100} \\\\\\ 300=50r\implies \cfrac{300}{50}=r\implies \stackrel{\%}{6}=r
anygoal [31]
Since we are already given with the formula to solve for the coordinates of point L, all we have to do is to perform the necessary operation in the item. The formula for the coordinates of the midpoint is,                    M = ((5 + 1) / 2 , (3 - 7) / 2)performing the operation,                   M = (3, -2)Thus, the coordinates of point L are (3,-2).
