Destructive: when waves wash up on beaches they drag pebbles with them when they draw back.

Constructive: as the waves wash up onto the beach they lose energy, thus they deposit any sediment/pebbles that they have.

Hope this helps. :)

Why was it called a world war if every country in the world was not involved?
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

It's a war for control of the world. ... The Americans, on the other hand, in 1914-17 usually called it the European War. Once the United States joined the war, of course, the American media could no longer refer to it as a European war: so it became the World War. That was the first large-scale use of the term in English.

Which is an example of oil as a strategic commodity?
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

D. Kuwait trades oil for technology with the United States

Explanation:

This is the best answer since oil is a very useful commodity other countries will trade other resources like technology for it.

C. is incorrect because this isn't using oil as a strategic commodity. this is just using force to get what they want.

A. is incorrect because it clearly doesn't mention trading oil.

B. is incorrect because it's not using oil strategically. Trading oil for other resources that we need is strategic.

So that leaves D which is correct.
