There are basically four phases in the mitosis cell division, which are as follows -

a) prophase-  It is the initial preparatory stage of cell division in which  some structures are broken down while others are created

b) metaphase - In this phase , the condensed chromosomes pairs arrange themselves along the equator of the elongated cell

c) anaphase - The sister chromatids are drawn to opposite poles

d)  telophase - The cell wall divides and two daughter cells are produced

Interphase is a resting phase between two cycle and during this the cell is not dividing but preparing itself for the next division.
