Given, Bodhi has a collection of 175 dimes and nickel. If she has n numbers of nickel. Then,

The number of dimes coin= 175-n.

The collection is worth $13.30.

1 nickel is worth five cents. So, n nickel will worth 0.05n.

Similarly 1 dime is worth 10 cents. So, 175-n dimes will worth 0.1(175-n).

Since the total worth is $13.30. So, we can set the equation as follows:

0.1(175-n)+0.05n=13.13.

Hence, the last option is the correct choice.

Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

y = 6.5

Step-by-step explanation:

     When triangles are similar, we can set up a proportion to compare the sides. I will have the "left" side on the bottom of the fractions, and the side I am solving for on the top.

 \frac{y}{6} =\frac{13}{12}

[Cross multiply]

12y = 78

y = 6.5

Have a nice day!

Lawrence decided to test the balance of his favorite six-sided die. To do so, over the course of a month, he wrote down the tota
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

C. 19.23%

Step-by-step explanation:

We simply have to sum up all the times he had a six then divide that by all the times he rolled the die.

Total times he got 6: 5 + 3 + 11 + 11 = 30

Total times he rolled the die: 39 + 21 + 55 + 41 = 156

The experimental probability is then 30 / 156 = 19.23%

It's a bit higher than expected (1/6 or 16.66%), but the sampling is relatively small.  If he were to throw it a thousand times, he'd probably be much close to the theoretical probability.
