She is probably suffering from "agoraphobia".

Agoraphobia is a kind of disorder in which an individual fears and stays away from spots or circumstances that may make them frenzy and influence you to feel caught, defenseless or humiliated. The side effects happen about each time the circumstance is experienced and keep going for over a half year or more. Those influenced will try really hard to stay away from these circumstances. In serious cases individuals may turn out to be totally unfit to leave their homes because of the fear.
