<span>The</span> War Powers Resolution of 1973 may be U.S. federal law providing that the President will send U.S. defense force into action abroad solely<span> by authorization of Congress or if </span>u.s. is already under fire or serious threat. The War Powers Resolution needs that the president apprize Congress inside forty-eight hours of committing defense force to action<span> forbids </span>defense forces from remaining for over sixty days while not an authorization of the employment of force or a declaration of war.
