The option 2nd is correct. i.e. long strings, less tension, thick strings will <span>produce low pitches from a guitar string.

A guitar has high pitch when its frequency is high. Short strings produce a higher pitch than long strings. Thin strings </span>produce a higher pitch than thick strings. More tension in the string produces a higher pitch than less tension.

Answer:

long strings, less tension, thick strings

Explanation:

The frequency produced by guitar string is related with the length, the tension of the string and the linear density of mass. It does not depend on the area of cross section of the string.

The pitch depends on the frequency. Lower frequency means lower pitch.

f= \frac{1}{2L}\sqrt{\frac{T}{m/L}}

Where T is the tension, L is the length of the string and m is the mass of the string.

Frequency is inversely proportional to length of wire and directly proportional to its tension.

For lower pitch (lower) frequency, the string should be long and the tension should be less.

A Plane has a takeoff speed of 150 m/s and requires 1500m to reach that speed. Determine the acceleration of the plane and the t
mars1129 [50]

<u>Answer:</u>

The acceleration of the plane and the time required to reach this speed is  (a)= 7.5 m/sec^2 and time(t) = 20 seconds

<u>Explanation: </u>

Given data Initial velocity (V_i) = 0

Final velocity (V_f) = 150 m/second

Distance (d) = 1500 m

We have the formula,  $\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{f}}^{2}=\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{i}}^{2}+2 \mathrm{ad}$

which gives 150^2 = 0+2a(1500)

22500 = 3000 a

acceleration (a) = 7.5 m/s^2

$\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{f}}=\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{i}}+\mathrm{at}$

150 = 7.5 t

t= 150/7.5 = 20

t = 20 seconds.

Two cars are traveling around identical circular racetracks. Car A travels at a constant speed of 20 m/s. Car B starts at rest a
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

b. it has the same centripetal acceleration as car A.

Explanation:

According to the question, the data provided is as follows

Constant speed of car A = 20 m/s

Constant tangential acceleration until its speed is 40 m/s

Based on the above information, the true statement is the same centripetal acceleration as car A because

As we know that

Centripetal acceleration is

= \frac{V^2}{r}

where,

V^2 = velocity

r = radius of the path

Now if both car A and car B moving in the same or identical circular path having the same velocity so in this case there is the same centripetal acceleration for that particular time

hence, the second option is correct

Which determines the pitch of a sound? A. At the same wavelength, the sound with the most cycles per second will have the highes
kipiarov [429]
This would be known to be determined by its sound wave which would be the amplitude. The pitch of sound would actually be a little differenr in this matter. But know that we know and understand the sound wave of the pitch of sound, we know that this is done by amplitude.

A truck exerts 2700 N of force on a car that is stuck in the mud, and does not move. How much work has the truck performed?
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

zero

Explanation:

although force was applied as long as there's no movement ,no work has been done

mathematically;work=force×distance

work=2700×0

work=0J
