When the ventricle contracts, the blood is pushed into the pulmonary artery that branches into two main parts: one going to the left lung, one to the right lung. The fresh, oxygen-rich blood returns to the left atrium of the heart through the pulmonary veins.

Eating food provides enough fuel for your body to live for only one day.<br><br> True<br> False
Korvikt [17]

Answer: False.

Explanation:

<em>The time that a person can live without feeding varies according to the age, physical condition, and health of the person</em>. There have been reports of people who spend even <u>94 days without eating</u>, and the estimated average is 40 to 70 days without eating before perishing.

Another factor to consider is the absence or presence of water. <u>Although the human being can live many days without food, without water time is limited to a few days</u>. Therefore water is more important for life.

<em>I hope this information can help you.</em>

"Poor people often volunteer for over-the-counter and prescription drug tests." From a functionalist perspective this statement
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

 function of poverty

Explanation:

Human body is used by functionalists as an analogy to society. According to functionalists there are various functions which are taken by poors. These functions are either taken by giving high wages or may be because they don't have any other option. These works may be physically unhealthy or dirty, deed-end and underpaid.

Like in the Example poor people volunteer more for drug. It is a dangerous work. The poor people do it either they don't have any other option like someone is ill and he can't pay for medical treatment and they offer him free treatment through drug prescription test. Or may be someone need money and he is doing it. If they were rich there are less chances of doing that work so that why it is called as a function of poverty.

There are similar works which are taken from poor like waste recycling and cleaning of unhealthy places.
