When dividing fractions, flip the 2nd one around and then multiply across:

a) 3/11 / 3/11 = 3/11 x 11/3 = 33/33 = 1

b) 9/10 / 3/5 = 9/10 x 5/3 = 45/30 = 1 15/30 = 1 1/2

Answer:

1 and 3/2 or 1 and 1 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

3➗3=1 and 11➗11= 1 so a. is 1/1 or 1.

9/10➗3/5 or 9➗3=3 and 10➗5=2 so it is 3/2 or 1 1/2 so the answers are 1 and 1 1/2! Hope this helps.

Answer:

a.the length of midsegment of an equilateral triangle with side lengths of 12.5 cm.=12.5/2=6.25cm

b.

sinceUT is the perpendicular bisector of line segment AB, where T is on AB, find the length of AT given AT = 3x + 6 and TB = 42 - x.

than AT=BT

3x+6=42-x

3x+x=42-6

x=36/4=9

AT=3×9+6=27+6=33

c.

since angle EFG has angle bisector FH, where EF = GF, find the value of y if EH = 5y + 10 and HG = 28 - y.

EH=GH

5y+10=28-y

6y=28-10

y=18/6=3

A coat cost $ 131.61 with 9.5% sales tax
marysya [2.9K]

Calculating Total Cost. Multiply the cost of an item or service by the sales tax in order to find out the total cost. The equation looks like this: Item or service cost x sales tax (in decimal form) = total sales tax. Add the total sales tax to the Item or service cost to get your total cost. Multiply retail price by tax rate

Let's say you're buying a $100 item with a sales tax of 5%. Your math would be simply: [cost of the item] x [percentage as a decimal] = [sales tax]. That's $100 x .
