In order to find out how much she paid for each book. we have to divide by 3 and the entire purchase cost.

Sooo...

$26.25 ÷ 3 = $8.75

So this means each book cost $8.75

Good Luck! :)

Akio found 18 cents in his pocket. He found 6 more coins in his pocket. Altogether he has 73 cents. What were the 6 coins he fou
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

1 quarter, 1 dime, and 4 nickels

Step-by-step explanation:

First you subtract the 18 cents that were found in the pocket from the total amount of 73 cents to get the total amount of the 6 other coins:

73-18=55.

So the total amount of the 6 coins equals 55 cents.

The quarter = 25 cents

The dime = 10 cents

The 4 nickels =  5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20

1 quarter, 1 dime, and 4 nickels add up to the necessary total of 6 coins and when you add up the total cents of the quarter, dime, and nickels, 25 + 10 + 20 it comes to the sum of 55, which is how much the 6 coins are worth in total.

So therefore, the answer is 1 quarter, 1 dime, and 4 nickels.

1.Morgan drives 24 miles due north, then drives 7 miles due east from home to work. What is the distance between Morgan’s home a
Naily [24]

Answer:

1) 25 miles

2) 20 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Number 1 is going to be

a^{2} + b^{2}  = c^{2} because it's a right triangle

So

24^{2} + 7^{2} = c^{2}

625 = c^{2}

c = 25 mile

Number 2 uses the same process, but changing to using C instead of A

a^2 = c^2 - b^2

a^2 = 625 - 225

a = \sqrt(400)

a = 20m
