In the US, people consume more than 126 grams of sugar per day. In Germany, the second-most sugar-loving nation among 6 countries, the average person eats about 103 grams on average. And the Netherlands, where people eat 102.5 grams, is the third. By contrast, Indians, Israelis and Chinese apparently don't like sweets. In India, people eat only about 5 grams per day on average. In Israel, it's 14.5 grams. And in China, it's just under 16 grams.  

When it comes to fat consumption, Germany and Netherlands are the most two fat-loving countries, where people eat 86.5 grams and 80.4 grams of fat each day on average, respectively. The United States is the third on the list, at 65.5 grams. At the other end of the spectrum, India, Israel and China, where people eat the least amount of fat, consume 10 grams, 52 grams, and just over 28 grams per capita, respectively.
