A) (32x² + 24x +12) / 16. Notice that the GCD of 32, 24 and 12 is 4
then let's factorize:

4(8x² + 6x + 3) / 16. Now simplify numerator & denominator by 4

Hence a) = (8x² + 6x + 3) / 4

b) 35/(42x² - 49x +21); the GCD (of denominator) of 42, 49 and 21 is 7
then let's factorize:
35/[7(6x² -7x +3); Notice that 35 = 7.5 ; 7.5/ 7(6x²-7x+3)
Now simplify numerator & denominator by 7

Hence b)= 5/(6x²-7x+3)

Now do the same for the others.

Area of rectangle = 15 x 8
                           =120

area of parallelogram = 8 x 15
                               =120
so, they have the same area, because the length of a rectangle is the same as the height of a parallelogram and also for the base.

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 63 inches. If the length of each side is (4x-3), find the value of x. Equilateral me
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3*(4x - 3) = 63                         Divide both sides by 3

4x - 3 = 63/3

4x - 3 = 21                                Add 3 to both sides

4x = 21 + 3

4x = 24                                    Divide by 4 on both sides

4x/4 = 24/4

x = 6

Note: The perimeter is the sum of all three sides. One side is 4x - 3 All 3 sides must be 3*(4x - 3)
