Formula:

y = p\% \times x
p = 37\% \div 100 = 0.37
y = 0.37 \times 1500 = 555
so there are 555 woman working.
1500 - 555 = 945
there are 945 men working

In a certain dart game, points are awarded for hitting a certain sections of the board. You get 5 points for each hit and lose 3
Jlenok [28]
So we have
h=hits
m=miss
h+m=10

gain 5 for every hit and lose 3 for every miss
so 5 times number of hit=points from hit
-3 times number of miss=points deducted from miss
add
5h-3m=18
so we have the equations

h+m=10
5h-3m=18

multiply first equation by 3
3h+3m=30
add to first equatio

3h+3m=30
5h-3m=18 +
8h+0m=48

8h=48
divide by 8
h=6
subsitute
h+m=10
6+m=10
subtract 6
m=4

6 hits
4 miss

A grocer pays $7.00 for each carton of 14 cantaloupes. Which inequality describes p, the set of prices, in dollars, that he can
Deffense [45]
I can tell you that is 50 cents for cantaloupe at that price....
So I think he'd have to charge $1.50. He'd get what he paid for back plus a dollar. If C= one cantaloupe ....it would look something like
p > $1.50c
BECAUSE 1.50 x 14 = 21 minus the 7 he paid would leave you with 14... on dollar per cantaloupe... so the price can be anything greater than $1.50

Use the diagram of ◾ABC to find m<D
M<D=
Yuliya22 [10]

Answer:

In quadrilateral ABCD we have

AC = AD

and AB being the bisector of ∠A.

Now, in ΔABC and ΔABD,

AC = AD

[Given]

AB = AB

[Common]

∠CAB = ∠DAB [∴ AB bisects ∠CAD]

∴ Using SAS criteria, we have

ΔABC ≌ ΔABD.

∴ Corresponding parts of congruent triangles (c.p.c.t) are equal.

∴ BC = BD.
