4.7 because if you plug it in- (2,1) and (6,6) it is 4.7 units

Distance formula : sqrt ((x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2)
(2,1)...x1 = 2 and y1 = 1
(6,6)...x2 = 6 and y2 = 6
time to sub and solve :)
d = sqrt ((6 - 2)^2 + (6 - 1)^2)
d = sqrt ((4^2) + (5^2))
d = sqrt (16 + 25)
d = sqrt 41
d = 6.40 <===

Factor completely 3x^2 − 21
Firdavs [7]
The highest common factor of the two terms is 3, so that goes outside the bracket as 3(____). To get 3x^2, you multiply 3 by x^2, which is your first term in the bracket, and to get -21, you multiply 3 by -7, so your final answer is 3(x^2 - 7). I hope this helps!

I need the steps and answers please
katrin [286]

Step-by-step explanation:

3(2x - 5) = 6(x + 3)

6x - 15 = 6(x + 3)

6x - 15 = 6x + 18

- 15 = 18

D= V(x2 - 1)2 + (12 - y1)?
Mrac [35]

Answer:

The approximate length of segment EF is 7 unit

Step-by-step explanation:

Given figure is the graph having E and F coordinate

The coordinate of point E = ( x_1 , y_1 ) = ( - 2 , -4 )

The coordinate of point F = ( x_2 , y_2 ) = ( 2 , 2 )

Let The distance between the points E and F = D

So, D = \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^{2} + ( y_2 - y_1 )^{2} }

or,  D = \sqrt{(2 - (- 2 ))^{2} + ( 2 - ( - 4 ))^{2} }

Or,  D = \sqrt{( 4 )^{2} + ( 6 )^{2} }

or, D = \sqrt{16 + 36}

∴  D = \sqrt{52}

I.e D = 7.21 unit

So, Approximate value of D = 7 unit

Hence The approximate length of segment EF is 7 unit  . Answer
