Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

For each person, there are only two possible outcomes. Either they can tell the difference between Coke and pepsi, or they cannot. The probability that a person has o telling the difference between Coke and pepsi is independent from each other. So we use the binomial probability distribution to solve this problem.

Binomial probability distribution

Probability of exactly x sucesses on n repeated trials, with p probability.

Can be approximated to the normal distribution if

np \geq 10

and

n(1-p)\geq 10

In this problem, we have that:

n = 15

First condition

np \geq 10

15p \geq 10

p \geq \frac{10}{15}

p \geq \frac{2}{3}

Second condition

n(1-p) \geq 10

15(1-p) \geq 10

15 - 15p \geq 10

-15p \geq -5

Multiplying by -1

15p \leq 5

p \leq \frac{1}{3}

p cannot be at the at the same time greather than 2/3 and lesser than 1/3. So we cannot assume  that the sampling distribution of the proportion of people that correctly chose Pepsi is normal.

The sum<br> of two numbers is 72. The difference is<br> 22. Find the two numbers.
kotegsom [21]

Answer:

b= 25

Step-by-step explanation:

a+b =72

a-b = 22

2a = 94

DBS(Divide Both Side) by 2

a = 47

=47 +b =72

and:

47 -b =22

subtract 47 from both sides:

b=25

and

-b = -25 MBS(Multiply Both Side) by-1 ....>b=25

Kim works as a salesperson for a photo studio. To find her earnings for the week, she multiples his total sales by 0.175. Her sa
choli [55]
To get the earning for the week you have to do this:
0.175 * the total sales

The total sales are: $2,507.47

So no multiply:
0.175 * 2,507.47 = 438.80725

Now, round it to the nearest hundredth to get your answer:
$438.81 ( A )

1.58

20-10.52 gives you 9.48, this is how much was paid for the apples. Divide that by 6 to get 1.58, which is how much it costs per pound! :)
