The answer is 3y=1+2x
i say this because if the answer ain't telling you to solve for x the you just do this
-2x+3y=1
+2x     =1+2x which all u have to do now is drop the positive 3y
which gives you 3y=1+2x

Write the equation in slope-intercept form, for the line that would coincide with (be in line with) line segment AB.
Llana [10]

Answer:

y=2

Step-by-step explanation:

We are finding the equation of the line that coincide with line segment AB.

So, we can find the equation by using points A and B.

A\rightarrow(-3,2)\\B\rightarrow)(1,2)

Slope of line (m) = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} = \frac{2-2}{1-(-3)} = 0

Since slope = 0, therefore the line is parallel to x-axis.

The equation of line  is given by y=mx+b

where m is slope and b is y-intercept.

So equation of line AB:

where m=0 and b=2

y=(0)x+2

y=0+2

y=2

The cost of painting the total outside surface of a closed cylindrical tank at 60 paise per meter squae is Rs237.60. The height
valkas [14]

Answer:

volume=509.25 dm^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Curved surface area=\frac {237.6}{0.6}=396 dm^{2}=2\pi R(R+H) where R is radius and H is height

Since H=6R then curved surface area=2\pi R(R+6R)=14\pi R^{2}

Therefore,

396 dm^{2}=14\pi R^{2} and making R the subject

R=\sqrt {\frac {396}{14\pi}}=\sqrt {(9.003622)}= 3.000604 m

Therefore, H=6R=6*3.000604=18.00362 m

Volume=\pi R^{2}H=\pi*3.000604^{2}*18.00362=509.2453 dm^{3}

Therefore, volume=509.25 dm^{3}
