According to the FTC, how does the ECOA empower individuals? Credit cannot be denied based on unrelated factors.

FTC stands for the Federal Trade Commission and the ECOA stands for Equal Credit Opportunity Act. The ECOA is a law in the United States in regards to credit applications not being discrimated by race, color, religion, national origin, sex, maritial status, or age. The only reason a person should be denied from receiving loans is if they have a low credit score or other factors that directly relate to the reasons credit lenders deny consumers.

ki77a [65]

Answer:

Annual deposit= $37,714.37

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

The villa costs $500,000 today, and housing prices in Mexico are expected to increase by 6% per year. Manny and Irene want to make fifteen equal annual payments into an account, starting today, so there will be enough money to purchase the villa in fifteen years.

The account earns 10% per year.

First, we need to calculate the final value of the house with the following formula.

FV= PV*(1+i)^n

FV= 500,000*(1.06^15)=$1,198,279.1

Now, we can calculate the annual payments required:

FV= {A*[(1+i)^n-1]}/i

A= annual deposit

Isolating A:

A= (FV*i)/{[(1+i)^n]-1}

A= (1,198,279.1*0.10)/[(1.10^15)-1]

A= $37,714.37

The correct answer for the question that is being presented above is this one: "TRUE." Although stocks can generate greater revenue, they are also more risky than many forms of investment. Dividends are not guaranteed; each company's board of directors has to vote to issue dividends, and they may not always do so.

irinina [24]

Answer:

preventing monopolization and/or conspiracy in the restraint of trade.

Explanation:

The Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890 was the first federal law that prohibited monopolistic practices. State legislatures had already passed some state laws that prohibited monopolies but since most monopolies engaged in interstate trade, they weren't affected by them, e.g. railroads, steel factories, etc.

This law was passed in order to address the issue from a national level and include monopolies that engaged in interstate trade.
