What role did the United States play in creating and implementing alliances?
Marat540 [252]

Answer:

The united states has had to rely on military and relational alliance since its creation. Domestically, the american government has had to involve its citizens in matters of state, and also ensure the safety, and even military intervention on behalf of its citizens. This is due to the fact that they are its first and foremost ally. To make this possible and achievable, the american constitution has made provision for the importance of its citizens above every other. Externally, the united states has several allies with whom it has made pact with. This pacts can range from providing military support when need be, to providing economic and social support. The major allies of the united states are within NATO, which was formed during the cold war era to bolster america's chances of winning in the case of a war outbreak between the united states and the USSR. Till date, america has kept its end of the bargain even going as far as shouldering the major responsibilities of NATO, which some Americans believe is uncalled for.

How does Coffin’s status as an abolitionist affect his portrayal of Garner’s story and his overall purpose in the text?
Ganezh [65]

According to a different source, this question refers to the text "Margaret Garner: Defying the Fugitive Slave Act" by Levi Coffin.

In this text, we learn about a woman names Margaret Garner who was a slave in Kentucky, but managed to escape. Upon being recaptured, she killed two of her children, preferring death to allowing them to become slaves.

Coffin's narrative shows that he is an abolitionist, and that he is inclined to support the decision of Garner. He describes her story as a heroic and painful one, and argues that only people who have experienced such level of sorrow are able to imagine the pain that Margaret had to endure. The purpose of the text is to show how unimaginable slavery is, and how it can lead people to commit the most desperate acts.

aleksandrvk [35]

The correct answer is C) a nation seeking support and protection from other nations."

The option that would have benefited most from the implementation of Wilson’s Fourteen Points is "a nation seeking support and protection from other nations."

At the end of World War 1, US President Woodrow Wilson had a real interest in the total pacification of western Europe after so much conflict and destruction. The economic interests of the United States were also at risk. So on January 8, 1918, he addressed Congress to develop 14 points that he considered would allow for long-lasting peace in Europe. The speech is known as the "14 Points Speech." Among the most important points were the free navigation of the seas, the establishment of fair trade conditions between the countries, and the evacuation of Montenegro, Serbia, and Romania.
