“the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” NYT is just a newspaper, Fox news has multiple subsections, but not anywhere near a monopoly. Meanwhile, Disney owns ABC, ESPN, Marvel, Lucasfilm, National Geographic, Pixar, Hulu, Lifetime, Vice Media, etc. Disney is a monopoly.

Answer:

Availability heuristic

Explanation:

Availability heuristic is a concept that describes the tendency for an individual to easy based judgment majorly on what they can easily remember. Availability heuristic, in order words , explains that people tend to make conclusions on the likelihood of an event to occur often based on how easy it is to recall examples of such.

According to the study conducted by Kahneman and Tversky (1973), it was found that most of the participants mistakenly believed there were more words in the English language that start with the letter “r” than words that have “r” in the third position, simply because they can easily remember examples of words in the English language that begin with “r”. These are as a result of the concept known as availability heuristic.

Social loafing is most pronounced in _____ cultures such as _____.
lord [1]
individualistic, American culture - This hypothesis was proposed by Christopher P. Earley. Social loafing is when a person puts less effort when working in a group than when working alone. Earley' s studies found that people from individualistic cultures had lesser tendencies to work to their potential in group activities and were more prone to social loafing. This was in contrast to collectivist cultures like Chinese. People of the Chinese culture were found to be better performers at group activities.
