Answer:

The correct answer is B. $1,800.00

Explanation:

LIFO Perpetual table is attached.

The table shows purchases, sales and balance of each period.

As the final inventory is 120 units, we suppose the sales of the year.  Applying LIFO,  our ending inventory cost is 120 units, each one at $15

So,  total cost is $1800 (120* 15)

Answer: Option A

Explanation:  In simple words, backward induction refers to the process under which an individual starts analyzing a performance from the end results and go backward to the steps to determine where actually the actions went wrong.

This technique is generally used for analyzing complex subjects which requires high technology or knowledge. It helps the individuals to determine what actions should be rectified in future so that same problems would not occur again.

In the given case, Elly is willing to analyze the whole subject by starting right from the results. Hence we can conclude that she is using backward induction.

During November, TaskMaster purchased 208,000 pounds of direct materials at a total cost of $436,800. The total factory wages fo
aniked [119]

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

Given the above information,

Direct material price variance is computed as;

= (Actual price - Standard price) × Actual quantity

Actual price = $436,800/208,000

Standard price = $436,800/182,000

Actual quantity = 208,000

Direct material price variance

=[ ($436,800 / 208,000) - ($436,800 / 182,000 ] × 208,000

= ($2.1 - $2.4) × 208,000

= $62,400 unfavourable
