"A court system would be formed to resolved disputes between citizens" would be the best option, since they envisioned the country evolving to tackle more difficult problems.

How influential do you think newspapers, pamphlets, and novels were in creating a shared culture throughout the British Empire?
bonufazy [111]

The correct answers to this open question are the following.

I think newspapers, pamphlets, and novels were very influential in creating a shared culture throughout the British Empire because they served as the official means of communication to convey the information the monarchy needed to convey to all the regions of the empire. The British government was very careful in communicating just what it thought would be convenient for the people of the empire to know. Nothing more, nothing less.

I think present-day forms of international media, like television shows and websites, can be compared to the printed word in the eighteenth century in that represent what we know as mass media. They are the ones that report the news, have a group of reporters that investigate and inform about the things that are happening and affect society, the way newspapers did in the 1700s.

It was through the media, that people knew what was going on in politics, economy, and social life. Similar situation as what modern media does in today's society.

Which two statements best show how the Scientific Revolution changed the way people perceived nature and society?
Korolek [52]

Scientific Revolution occurred during the Renaissance, during which mathematics, physics, astronomy, biology, human anatomy, chemistry are developed. All this has led to a transformation in the way of thinking. Knowledge based on ecclesiastical teachings and teachings was no longer undoubtedly accepted, but it all started to be subjected to scientific observation, experiments and the re-examination of traditional learning. This did not only affect the change of attitude and thinking in science, but it also reflected on the everyday view of the world in Europe. This is also reflected in all other spheres of life, people turn away from the Church as the source of a dogmatic way of thinking. Many previous theories were disputed, such as the geocentric system.

The Navigation Act of 1651: Group of answer choices was repealed once Cromwell came to power required all goods imported into Br
alisha [4.7K]

The correct answer is "required all goods imported into Britain or the colonies to be shipped in British vessels."

The Navigation Act of 1651 required all goods imported into Britain or the colonies to be shipped in British vessels.

The English Navigation Acts acts heavily taxed goods shipped in the southern colonies and countries other than England.

The English monarchy wanted to exert control over the 13 colonies and get some funds to pay the debts of war, by collecting taxes. There were many taxes in those years. But specifically, the Navigation Acts were a series of English laws that controlled shipping and trade from the English colonies to other countries, limiting the participation of foreign people in commerce with the colonies. The Navigation Acts were passed in 1663, 1673, and 1696.
