Hello Ashley!

This is an isosceles triangle. How do we know? Well, the two little bar they put means that it is isosceles. When you add all the angles together, you MUST find them equal to 180. Another you need to keep in mind is that the angle that are face to face with each other are ALWAYS equal.

Too much talking...we gonna solve the problem.

x + x + 72 = 180
2x + 72 = 180
2x = 180 - 72
2x = 108
x = 108/2
x= 54
That's the answer .

---------------------
What did we say earlier? We said that when we add all the angles together we MUST find them equal to 180. So, we gonna replace x by 54

54 + 54 + 72  = 180
180 = 180
So.. yes we got it right!

54 is the correct answer.

Good luck with your studies!

-2

y2-y1/x2-x1
take the y coordinate of the second pair of coordinates and subtract it by the y coordinate of the first pair, then take the x coordinate from the second pair of coordinates and subtract it from the x coordinate from the first pair. then put your answer from the y coordinate over the answer from the x coordinates. 1 - 13 / 8 - 2, then you get -12/6, which simplifies to 2.

Hope this helps :)

1. 86 Is 45% of what number? A. 86=0.45n B. n=0.45x86 C.0.45=n x 86 D. 86=45n
svetlana [45]
1.A: 86 is equal to (86=) 45 % (which is 0.45) of a number n so 86=0.45n

2. C 4 is npercent of 26, so 4=n*26 where n is a number in percent, with the percent sign!

On cold days, Nate likes to make hot chocolate, Ile uses 6 tablespoons of cocoa and 2 tablespoons of sugar
SVETLANKA909090 [29]
For every 3 tablespoons of cocoa, Nate uses 1 tablespoon of sugar.

Since the sugar is halved, the cocoa should be halved as well. 6/2 is 3.

What reference angle in the first quadrant corresponds to theta = -120? Answer in radians.
creativ13 [48]
To draw theta=-120° in the unit circle, we move clockwise 90°, then another 30°.

This means that we pass the fourth quadrant and stop in the third quadrant.

The reference angle of an angle theta in the third quadrant, is theta + 180°.

So the reference angle of -120° is -120°+180°=60°.

         360° are 2π Radians
then  60° are 1/6 of 2π Radians = π/3 Radians

Answer: Reference angle is π/3 Radians
