A deciduous forest is a biome that is occupied with deciduous trees which shed their leaves seasonally. The leaves are typically broad and wide. The deciduous forests are known for plants of coniferous genera such as Metasequonia and Larch. Other faunal variety includes elm, birch, aspen, honeysuckle, maple and oak.
Although the tree species is maintained by replanting but the diversity of plant species cannot be maintained. If a particular tree species is used by animals to obtain it as shelter, food and for other needs, cannot be found in the replanted area animals might not return back.
