Explanation:

Lactose, fructose and raffinose are complex carbohydrates which are found in legumes, cereals, grains, vegetables, nuts. When the complex carbohydrates is consumed it result in intestinal gas formation because the intestine lack bacteria that will help to digest it due to low concentration of bacteria , the remain undigested and lead to gas production in the intestine.
