Answer: hydrogen bonds

Explanation:

Hydrogen bonding (H-bonding) is an intermolecular force having partial ionic-covalent character. H-bonding takes place between a hydrogen atom (attached with an electronegative atom e.g. O, N and F) and an electronegative atom (O, N and F).

Hydrogen bonding generally appears in covalent molecules.

In H_2O, O is a highly electronegative atom attached to a H atom through a covalent bond. Therefore oxygen atoms gets partial negative charge and H atoms gets partial positive charge.

Hence  polar covalent nature of water allow water molecules to form hydrogen bonds.

What thaws slower land, air, or water
Nesterboy [21]
Hmm... after some long thinking about this I would have to go with land. After land has been frozen, it thaws (<span>become liquid or soft as a result of warming.) Heat cannot "thaw" because it is apart of air. Water cannot "thaw" because it is already a liquid. Makes sense? I hope this helps! P.S. (A brainliest wouldn't hurt) ;)</span>

What does enzyme do it to a reaction?
Mama L [17]

Answer:

Enzymes work by binding to reactant molecules and holding them in such a way that the chemical bond-breaking and bond-forming processes take place more readily. Basically, it reduces the activation energy and makes the reaction occur faster.
