Answer:

The total cost C (in dollars) to participate in a ski club is given by the literal equation :

C=85x+60

Where x is the number of ski trips you take.

1. When C = 315 ;substituting the value of C in the above equation.

315=85x+60

=> 85x=315-60

=> 85x=255

x = 3 trips.

2. When C = 485

485=85x+60

=> 85x=485-60

=> 85x=425

x = 5 trips.

First of all why is there 2 similar equation connected to one another?

Second in order to solve this all you need to do is plug in the number and solve for x

For 485

85x+60=485
85x=420
X=5

Do the same thing and you get 3

The domain is the set of allowed inputs, in this case t values. The smallest t value allowed is t = 0. The largest is t = 165. So that's why the domain is 0 \le t \le 165

-------------------------------

The range is 0 \le H \le 40000 since H = 0 is the smallest output of the function and H = 40,000 is the largest output. Like the domain, the range is the set of possible outputs of a function.

Need Help ASAP only correct answers. Working on it now. Took a picture. question: Figure ABCDE is the result of a 180° rotation
Angelina_Jolie [31]

Answer:∠M in the pre-image corresponds to ∠B in the image.

Step-by-step explanation:

When  we look at the figures , we can see that the three vertices B , C , D are one side as vertices to M , N  ,O .

Clearly , vertex C corresponds to vertex N ( presents in the middle )

Also, point B is at the right from point C .In  Figure L M N O P , vertex M is at the right from vertex N .Thus , vertex M corresponds the vertex B.

It means ∠M in the pre-image corresponds to ∠B in the image.

Given that <br><img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=x%20%3D%205y%20-%20z" id="TexFormula1" title="x = 5y - z" alt="x = 5y - z" alig
yuradex [85]

x = 5y - z

You can think that x and z are numbers, and we have one variable z.

x -5y = 5y - 5y - z

x - 5y = - z

(x - 5y)*(-1) = - z *(-1)

z = - x + 5y
