Answer:

156250

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :The table below shows the amount of money, in cents, Celine had saved after different numbers of years:

years                     Money in cents

1                                       10

2                                       50

3                                       250

4                                       1250

5                                       6250

6                                      31250

Solution :

We can see that every year she saved five times the amount she saved previous year

in year two she saved = 5*amount in previous (1)year

                                   = 5*10

                                    = 50

In year 3 she saved= 5*amount in previous (2)year

                                   = 5*50

                                    = 250

Since we are asked she saved in 7 years = 5*amount in previous (6)year

                                                                     = 5*31250

                                                                      = 156,250

Thus he amount of money, in cents, that Celine will save in 7 years is 156250

Your answer here would be letter A because for each year it is multiplied by 5 and so year 6 was 31,250 and 31,250 * 5 is 156,250

What Is The Surface Area Of this triangular prism? The Base Of Each Triangle 42m And the height of the triangular base is 20m. (
ehidna [41]

Answer:

The surface area is 2,440\ m^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

see the attached figure to better understand the problem

we know that

The surface area of a triangular prism is equal to

SA=2B+PH

where

B is the area of the triangular base

P is the perimeter of the triangular face

H is the height of the prism

Find the area of the base B

B=\frac{1}{2}(42)(20)=420\ m^{2}

Find the perimeter of the base P

P=(42+29+29)=100\ m

we have

H=16\ m

substitute the values

The surface area is

SA=2(420)+100(16)=2,440\ m^{2}
