The arm span and foot length were both measured (in centimeters) for each of 20 students in a biology class. The computer output
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

The guy above me is completely wrong hahaha.

The correct answer should have a 63%.

It's probably D. The terminology is a little confusing.

The equation of the output looks like:

-7.611 + .186(x) = y

x --> Arm span

y --> Foot span

The linear relationship is formed with the armspan.

How to find the area of a shaded region if there are two circles inside a square, the area of the square is 60 ( on side is 6 an
o-na [289]
If it's breadth is 6 then the circles should have the diameter 6 and radius = 3
now subtract the area of both circles from the area of rectangle
area of circle = π r²
= 3.14 x (3)²
= 3.14 x 9
= 28.26
this is area of one circle
so area of both circles = 2 x 28.26 = 56.52
now the area of shaded region = area of rectangle - area of both circles
area of shaded region = 60 - 56.52
                                = 3.48 <------ANSWER

Solve 6a + (8b + 2a) = 6a + (2a + 8b)
LekaFEV [45]
★ Linear Reduction ★

6a + ( 8b + 2a ) = 6a + ( 2a + 8b )

6a + 8b + 2a = 6a + 8b + 2a

Hence , a = b = c is the only possible set available in real numbers

(a = b = c) ∈ R

Write each of the following expressions as a single logarithm.1)log(2)+log(12)2)2log(4)+4log(3)
irga5000 [103]

To solve both questions, we need to use the following two properties of the logarithm function.

\begin{gathered} \log _b(x\cdot y)=\log _b(x)+\log _b(y) \\ \text{and} \\ \log _b(x^y)=y\log _b(x) \end{gathered}

In our case,

\begin{gathered} \log (2)+\log (12)=\log (2\cdot12)=\log (24) \\ \Rightarrow\log (2)+\log (12)=\log (24) \end{gathered}

The answer to part 1) is log(24).

On the other hand,

\begin{gathered} 2\log (4)=\log (4^2)=\log (16) \\ 4\log (3)=\log (3^4)=\log (81) \\ \Rightarrow2\log (4)+4\log (3)=\log (16)+\log (81)=\log (16\cdot81)=\log (1296) \\ \Rightarrow2\log (4)+4\log (3)=\log (1296) \end{gathered}

The answer to part 2) is log(1296)
