Answer:

Various sanitation practices changed as a result of germ theory of disease.

Explanation:

Germ theory states that germs are the causative organisms of various diseases. Germs include several microbes like bacteria, fungi, virus, protozoa etc. These microbes invade the host body and multiply inside the host body.

Prior to germ theory there were several other theories like the miasma theory but the discovery of microbes proved them to be false. Germ theory brought several changes in sanitation practices and thus has several applications.

John snow an English physician who studied cholera suggested that the transmission was through water contaminated by the faecal matter of infected people.

This discovery gave the idea that sanitation practices have to be improved. The disinfection of surgical instruments is also an improvement that was made in sanitary practices after the formation and acceptance of germ theory.

What is the maximum number of hours that food can be held in the food danger zone?
Agata [3.3K]
To answer this question, let us first mention what is food danger zone. Well, this refers to the temperature range in which bacteria grows faster in the food. The range is defined as 30 to 140 degree Fahrenheit or can be converted into 4 to 60 degree Celsius. Going back to the question, the maximum number of hours that a food can be held in the food danger zone is only 2 hours. Beyond this 2 hours, the food is not safe to be eaten and the person who dares to eat this food might get some illness and worst might experienced food poisoning.

My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

The theory of plate tectonics states that the Earth's solid outer crust, the lithosphere, is separated into plates that move over the asthenosphere, the molten upper portion of the mantle. Oceanic and continental plates come together, spread apart, and interact at boundaries all over the planet.
