How do we know that dna replication occurs during interphase, not early in mitosis? how do we know that dna replication occurs d

uring interphase, not early in mitosis? the initiation and completion of dna synthesis can be detected by the incorporation of labeled precursors into dna. dna content in a g2 nucleus is twice that of a g1 nucleus. the initiation and completion of dna synthesis can be detected by the incorporation of labeled precursors into dna. dna content in a g1 nucleus is twice that of a g2 nucleus?

Because interphase is the first step in mitosis, and DNA synthesis starts to occur in prophase when the 2 strands of DNA are joined and intertwined.

just olya [345]

Answer:

1. fragmentation- genetically identical

2. budding- genetically identical

3. haploid cells from two different mycelia fuse to form a zygote- genetically distinct

4. one hyphae creates spores through mitosis- genetically identical

Explanation:

1) Fragmentation is a form of asexual reproduction i.e. one parent, employed by certain organisms including fungi in which a FRAGMENT breaks off from the single parent to produce new cells. Since it is an asexual reproduction, the resulting cells will be GENETICALLY IDENTICAL.

2) Budding is another form of asexual reproduction that fungi undergoes e.g yeast. In the budding process, buds develop on the parent cell and later grow into mature cells that are GENETICALLY IDENTICAL to the parent cell.

3) In fungi, two different mycelia can produce haploid sex cells via the process of meiosis, which then fuse to produce a ZYGOTE. This method is a sexual means of reproduction. Hence, the zygote formed will be GENETICALLY DISTINCT from the parent.

4) Hyphae (threadlike filaments) of a fungi can via MITOTIC DIVISION produce spores, which then germinates under favorable conditions and grows into a new fungus. This new fungus cell is GENETICALLY IDENTICAL to the parent hyphae.

Answer:

Well the model above is showing all the planets in order from how close or far away they are from the sun and it also seems to show the scale of each planet compared to another.

Explanation:

As for the Evidence or why it is important to know this is because the scale and location of the planet to the sun directly effects everything about the planet, its Atmosphere, tempterue and rotaion. And the more we learn about all plants we can better underatand our own geological past behavior of its Atmostohere and futute clamatic trends.

Which is a genotype for pea shape? A. r B. R C. RR D. round peas
fiasKO [112]
The genotype for pea shape is Round- RR or Rr and for the wrinkled -rr. The genotype is the genetic make up of an organisms, it determines the phenotype (the physical trait). In this case; the round pea shape is dominant to the wrinkled shape;which means the phenotype of round shape will be expressed when we have both homozygous dominant (RR) and heterozygous (Rr), while the wrinkled shape will be expressed by homozygous recessive (rr).
