In order to answer this question we need to know what csc and cos mean/
csc A = 1/ sin A = 1 / opposite cathetus/ hypotenuse = hypotenuse/opposite cathetus
cot A = cos A/sin A = adjoining cathetus / hypotenuse/ opposite cathetus/ hypotenuse = adjoining cathetus/ opposite cathetus

cot B= 5/6
csc B = 8/6 = 4/3
cot C = 6/5
csc C = 8/5

As we can see the right option is D.

2. The bottom of a ramp is placed 15 feet from the edge of a stage
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

The slope of the ramp is 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

See the diagram attached.

Here, AC  = 15 ft. and ED = 5 ft. while AE = 10 ft.

Then, EC = (15 - 10) = 5 ft.

Now, considering the right triangle Δ EDC, if \theta is the inclination of the ramp, then \tan \theta = \frac{ED}{EC} = \frac{5}{5} = 1

Hence, \theta = 45 ^{\circ}

Therefore, the slope of the ramp is 1. (Answer)

Make Sense and Persevere Paxton, a summer camp counselor, has a budget of $300 to spend on caps and T-shirts for a summer camp.
Sliva [168]

Answer:

9 shirts and 10 caps

Step-by-step explanation:

Buying one t shirt costs 20 dollars, and one cap would cost 12 dollars. If Paxton bought one cap and one shirt, that would cost 32 dollars. If we multiply that by 9, we get 288. So Paxton can buy 9 shirts and 9 caps with 288 dollars. Paxton has 12 dollars left, so Paxton can buy one more cap to entirely spend the budget.
