When comparing a cell just before the first meiotic division with another cell of the same organism that is ready to start mitos
Yakvenalex [24]

Answer:

III. Equal number of chromosomes.

Explanation:

Comparison between two cells, one cell just before first meiotic division and other cell ready to start mitosis is that both the cells have equal number of chromosomes.

Both the cells have an equal number of chromosomes that is 2n (diploid),  where n is 23 and total chromosomes are 46 in each cell but at the meiosis at the end meiosis produces four haploid (n) daughter cells and mitosis produces two diploid (2n) cells.

Hence, the correct answer is "III. Equal number of chromosomes.".

Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

D) Passing of electrons from Photosystem I to electron transport chain.

Explanation:

The NADPH is generated in the thylakoid membrane first in order to energize the second stage of photosynthesis (Calvin Cycle). Calvin Cycle takes place in the stroma, so that choice is out.  Choices A, B, and C are in cellular respiration, and NADPH is not made in that process, so that leaves choice D.
