It is given that Isaiah portioned 4\frac{1}{4} ounces of chicken. We have to assume that 1 ounce = 28.35 grams.

Now, if 1 ounce=28.35 grams,

then 4\frac{1}{4} ounces of chicken=4 \frac{1}{4}\times 28.35=\frac{17}{4}\times 28.35=4.25\times 28.35=120.4875 grams

This can be approximated to be 120 grams.

Thus the best estimate of grams of chicken Isaiah portioned is 120 grams.

The mean number of accidents a week at a company is 6.4 with a standard deviation of 1.5. What proportion of weeks would you exp
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

0.17619

Step-by-step explanation:

We solve using z score formula

= z = (x-μ)/σ,

where x is the raw score = 5 accidents

μ is the population mean = 6.4 accidents

σ is the population standard deviation = 1.5

z = 5 - 6.4/1.5

= -1.4/1.5

= -0.93333

Approximately to 2 decimal places = -0.93

Determining the probability value from Z-Table:

P(x< 5) = P(z = -0.93) = 0.17619

Converting this to percentage =

The probability of weeks you would expect to have less than 5 accidents is

0.17619

We are asked in the question:

What proportion of weeks would you expect to have less than 5 accidents?

Proportion is also the same as:

Therefore, the proportion of weeks that you expect to have less than 5 accidents = 0.17619

HELPPPP MEEEEEEEE ! Can you have a right triangle where the lengths of the legs are whole numbers and the length of the hypotenu
MArishka [77]
No, u cant

a^2 + b^2 = c^2.....pythagorean theorem used on only right triangles...where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse

a^2 + b^2 = 23^2
a^2 + b^2 = 529...so u would have to find 2 square numbers that add up to 529. There aren't any.
