1st you need equation for the surface area of a sphere which is:
A=4*π*r^2
Where r=radius
r = diameter/2 or d/2

So
area of a sphere = 4*π*(d/2)^2

Plug in the area given
1041 = 4*π*(d/2)^2

Solve for d
1041/(4* π)=82.84

82.84 = (d/2)^2

Sqrt(82.84)=d/2

9.10=d/2

9.10*2= d

18.2=d
So the answer is 18.2 in

LenaWriter [7]

Answer:

sin(40°)

Step-by-step explanation:

Trigonometric functions such as sine, cosine, tangent whose short forms are sin, cos, tan respectively are <u><em>repetitive functions</em></u> which repeat itself after every integral multiple of 2π radian or 360°. It means if you add or subtract 360° from any input of  trigonometric function the output of the function won't change.

It means sin(θ) = sin(θ - n×360°) = sin(θ + n×360°)

similarly cos(θ) = cos(θ - n×360°) = cos(θ + n×360°)

and tan(θ) = tan(θ - n×360°) = tan(θ + n×360°)

where n is an integer.

So, by this sin(400°) = sin(400° - 360°) = sin(40°)

The figures below are similar. the area of the larger trapezoid is 121m^2. Find the area of the smaller trapezoid to the nearest
DENIUS [597]

Answer:

54 square meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Similar figures have corresponding lengths as equal ratios.

Smaller trapezoid's base is given 12 and larger trapezoids base is given 18, so the scale factor is 12k=18\\k=\frac{18}{12}\\k=1.5

<em>this means the lengths of larger is 1.5 times lengths of smaller.</em>

<em />

In terms of area, the scale factor is squared. Hence the scale factor for area is  k^2=(1.5)^2=2.25

<em>this means the area of larger is 2.25 times the area of smaller.</em>

<em />

Now, Let area of smaller trapezoid be x so we can say:  x(2.25)=121\\x=\frac{121}{2.25}\\x=53.78

<em>to nearest square meter, </em><em>x = 54 meters squared</em>
