1. Due to industrial revolution, the cities have been centralized in terms of job and business opportunities. Because majority of the population are found in the cities, there are more mouths to feed. Thus, the food service industry would boom to cater to the needs of the people.

2. The two benefits of pasteurization are: it kills bacteria in the raw milk that might harm consumers especially kids; it also lengthens the shelf life of milk up to years.

3. Ray Kroc's goal was not to create a chain restaurant, but to transform burgers, fries and shakes into a huge empire. Furthermore, he opts to keep the costs down to cater to a wide range of social class. Ray Kroc's plan for success is to take risks and opportunities. He saw a great potential in the McDonalds' brothers small restaurant, so he offered to sell mixers and to lead the franchising division.

4. Eco-friendly food choices does not take advantage of meat that could disrupt the ecosystem. Moreover, the packaging should also be eco-friendly such that the waste is easy to handle. As a result, you won't pollute the environment.

5. The most obvious reason is that you cut down costs of transportation. Consequently, this reduces energy liberated to the environment, like the fuel emissions, for example.
