Hey there James!

Volume = 10 • 28 • 50 = 14,000

All you do is multiply the base • width • the amount of air in the tank = volume.

So, in this case, your answer would be, B) 14000 cm³

Hope this helps! Have a great day :)

The amount (in megawatts) of energy generated in a country from wind power can be modeled by the function W(t)equalsw0(1.90)
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

W(t)=W_0(1.90)^t

Where t corresponds to the year 2000=0

a.W(0)=2540MW

Substitute the values

2540\times 10^6=W_0(1.90)^0=W_0

W_0=2540MW

b.In  2004

t=4

W(4)=2540(1.90)^4

W(4)=33101.534 MW

c.In 2013

t=13

W(13)=2540(1.9)^{13}=10.68\times 10^6MW

Trigonometry

  • [Right Triangles Only]: Pythagorean Theorem: a² + b² = c²

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

We are given a right triangle. We can use PT to solve for the missing length.

Step 2: Identify Variables

Leg a = 8

Leg b = 8

Hypotenuse c = x

Step 3: Solve for x

  1. Substitute [PT]:                    8² + 8² = x²
  2. Exponents:                           64 + 64 = x²
  3. Add:                                      128 = x²
  4. Isolate x:                               8√2 = x
  5. Rewrite:                                x = 8√2
