A single rectangle has the area of (11 mm)(8 mm) = 88 mm²
So the lateral areas which are the total number of rectangles will be 6*(88 mm²) = 528 mm²
Just recall the formula of the regular polygon, given the side of that polygon.
This hexagon has the area of (1/4)*(6)*(8²)*cot(180°/6) = 166.28 mm²
There are two bases; so 2*(166.28 mm²) = 332.55 mm²

Hence, the surface area is lateral areas + base areas:
528 mm² + 332.55 mm² = 860.55 mm² (ANSWER: d)

Question in pic. please answer!
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

The angles from largest to smallest are:

∠A

∠B

∠C

Step-by-step explanation:

We can see in the diagram that

AB = 7

AC = 8

BC = 9

The angles opposite to sides are as follows:

∠A is opposite to BC

∠B is opposite to AC

∠C is opposite to AB

The angle opposite to the largest side of the triangle is the largest and the angle opposite to smallest side of the triangle is the smallest in measurement

Arranging the sides from largest to smallest:

BC, AC, AB

Similarly the angles opposite them will be arranged according to them

∠A, ∠B, ∠C

Hence,

The angles from largest to smallest are:

∠A

∠B

∠C

The function g(x) = –3x2 – 36x – 60 written in vertex form is g(x) = –3(x + 6)2 + 48. Which is one of the transformations applie
navik [9.2K]
The vertex form of the function gives the vertex as (-6,48). The vertex of f(x)=x^2 is (0,0) so from this information, the vertex is moved LEFT 6 and UP 48. This cancels out two options. The coefficient -3 tells us that the graph is flipped or reflected over the x-axis (negative sign flips graph) and that all y-values will be 3 times as large. Larger y-values for the same x inputs makes the graph narrower.

2 questions in the 2 pictures and then im done thank you
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

Hey there!

For the first question we use the triangle area formula: 1/2bh, or 1/2(8)(5). This gives us 20 for the area.

For the second question we get a trapezoid, since the cross section does not pass through the vertex.

Hope this helps :)
