In the most general terms, the most important influence on the climate of Western Europe comes from the Atlantic Ocean.

More specifically: The Golf Stream (later called the North Atlantic Drift) brings warm water to Europe, making its climate a lot milder and warmer than it would otherwise be.

The Atlantic Ocean

Further Explanation:

The Gulf Stream winds that blow causes Europe's mild climate. It brings warm water in Europe which makes the climate warmer. Gulfstream along with the northern extension of North Atlantic drift brings warm and swift ocean currents which originate in gulf of Mexico. It stretches to Florida that follows the eastern coastline of the USA before crossing the ocean that is called North Atlantic current. This process intensifies the Gulf Stream towards the north which accelerates the current off the east coast. At 40 degree North and 30 degrees West it gets splits up into two streams: Northern and Southern.

Gulf Stream influences the east coast climate and also the west coast of Europe. The presence of the stream has led to the development of cyclones. The potential source of power generation. The Discovery of the Gulf Stream was on 1512. It is used by Spanish ships for sailing. The Oceanic Current was powerful than winds. Trade winds blow to west in the tropics. The western boundary current is called labrador current. The potential vorticity is conserved which causes bending along the gulf stream that breaks off because of the shifting of gulf stream’s position forming warm and cool eddies. This whole process is called as western intensification.

A theory is n agreed upon statement about what we obseserve. summarizes and explains facts.
mario62 [17]

Facts are agreed-upon statements; theories are ideas.

Does a theory summarize and explain facts?

A theory not only explains known facts; it also allows scientists to make predictions of what they should observe if a theory is true. Scientific theories are testable. New evidence should be compatible with a theory. If it isn't, the theory is refined or rejected.

What is a theory statement?

A theoretical statement says something about the values of one or more variables, although it is generally thought of as expressing something about the relationship between two or more variables (e.g., “The more television a child sees, the more aggressive the child will act”).
