This means that waters at these depths will have a higher concentration of oxygen than deeper waters where the light rays cannot reach. This is because phytoplantons will be found in photic zones in the oceans. Therefore, these photosythetic organisms produce oxygen as a byproduct of photosythesis and use up carbon dioxide.

P_{T}= total pressure  

P_{Ne} = pressure of neon  

P_{Ar} = pressure of argon  

P_{He} = pressure of helium {which is required}

P_{T} = P_{Ne} + P_{Ar} + P_{He}    

1.25 = 0.68 + 0.35 +  P_{He}

P_{He}   = 1.25  - [0.68 + 0.35] = 0.22 atm
