 I believe your answer would be D) Light rays change direction when they hit a mirror. Since if a light ray encounters a smooth and shiny surface, such as a mirror, the rays will indeed bounce off the surface casting it to go into a different direction. 
 I paraphrased from an article, if you want to learn more on the Reflection and Refraction of Light then I suggest you check it out just search up "Why do light rays change direction when they pass through a mirror." Should be the first result if not then it's published by "Live Science"
