Answer:

3x

Step-by-step explanation:

If you have 2x, that would mean there is 1x and 1x. T

he question asks what 2x+2x+1x is, and since all three have the same variable you can just add the coefficient.

The coefficients are 1, 1, and 1 since they are in front of the variable.

The variable is x.

Therefore, since 1+1+1=3, your answer is 3x.

Jaime biked 5 1/4 miles on Monday, 6 7/8 miles on Tuesday, and 8 1/2 miles
adelina 88 [10]
10 1/8 miles would be the answer.

This is because every day he increases by 1 5/8 of a mile.  So if the pattern continues he will bike 10 1/8 miles.

Hope that helps!!

Umnica [9.8K]

Neither of them are correct.

This is what Annabelle is doing:

(4^2+7^5)(4^3+7^2)

This is what Navelle is doing:

(4^27^2)(4^37^2) \implies 4^{2*3}7^{2*5}

Navelle is multiplying the exponents. You only do that when you raise an exponent to a power under parenthesis. Annabelle mistook multiplication for addition, and she got her answer as a result. This is the correct way to do it:

4^27^5*4^37^2=4^{2+3}*7^{2+5}=4^5*7^7

Assume two independent random samples are available which provide sample proportions. For the first sample assume n1= 100 and x1
Vesnalui [34]

Answer:a) z-value = -1.425 p-value= 0.077 statistically significant

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following :

n1 = 100; x1 = 39 ; n2 = 100 ; x2 = 49

Z value for two independent samples can be obtained using the relation :

Z = (p1 - p2) /(√p(1-p)) * (√[(1/n1) + (1/n2)]

Z = -1.425

P-value : using the online p-value calculator at a confidence level of 90% from z score

Obtained p value = 0.077079

The p value is less than 0.1 , hence result is significant at p<0.10
