A tree cast a shadow 15 feet long. At the same time, a 18 foot flag pole casts a shadow 10 feet long. How tall is the tree?

18 = 10

15/18 = x/10

Cross Multiply:
15 × 10 = 150

150 ÷ 18 = 8.33

Answer = 8.33 ft tall
