The correct answer is option A. The Italian peninsula's government was controlled by either Austria or the papacy. This arrangement had to change when Prussia defeated Austria in 1866, and the Austria had to concede Venetia in the name of Italy's unification.  The process of unification  began in 1815 with the Congress of Vienna and was completed in 1871 when Rome became the capital of the Kingdom of Italy.

In your Opinion, How will history record the siege on the Capitol on January 6th?
Ahat [919]

Answer:

The storming of the United States Capitol was a riot and violent attack against the 117th United States Congress on January 6, 2021, carried out by a mob of supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump in an attempt to overturn his defeat in the 2020 presidential election.[2] After attending a Trump rally, thousands[32] of his supporters marched down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol. Many stormed the building to disrupt the Electoral College vote count by a joint session of Congress, attempting to prevent the formalization of President-elect Joe Biden's election victory.[33][34] Breaching police perimeters, rioters then occupied, vandalized,[35][36] and looted[37] parts of the building for several hours.[38][39][40] The riot led to the evacuation and lockdown of the Capitol.[41][42]

Can anyone help me answer these two history questions?
lara [203]
Plurality is when a candidate has the most votes, but still has fewer than 50% of the total votes. This is possible if there are three or more candidates. Majority means the candidate has more than 50%. To become president, a candidate needs at least 270 electoral votes out of 538 (majority). Each state has a certain amount of electoral votes which are not the same as actual votes. A candidate can win the popular vote by having the most individuals vote for them, but lose the election because another candidate earned the majority of the electoral votes.

Harrison was the first Whig president.
