It says "Stephanie AND her 8 friends" so she forgot to include herself. if you divide 483 by 9, you get 53.6666667, which rounds to 54. hope this helps!

If you take 54 skittles and multiply that by 8 you would get 432 which would not equal 483 so she would have 51 skittles left over which would not be correct so if you divide 483 by 8 everyone would get 60 skittles

A sofa regularly sells for 860. The sale price is 670.80. Find the percent decrease of the sale price from the regular price
andre [41]

Answer:

-22%

Step-by-step explanation:

The percent decrease can be found by subtracting the original amount from the sale price. Divide the result by the original price and multiplying the decimal by 100 for the percent.

670.80 - 860 = -189.2

-189.2/860 = -0.22

-0.22*100 = -22%

200 - [ ( 50 - 4 ) × 3 + 5 ]
= 200 - [ 46 × 3 + 5 ]
<Put brackets around the 2 number that enclose the times sign as a reminder to do that first>
= 200 - [ ( 46 × 3 ) + 5 ]
= 200 - [ 138 + 5 ]
= 200 - (143)
= 57

Hope this helps!
