A corporation is really a macrocosm of a family. The parents must look at themselves and each child to determine how money and time is spent. Often families sit together and discuss issues to come up with a resolution that each family member agrees to. The kids get to give their ideas too. A corporation really just needs to look at themselves as a huge family. The first thing management needs to do is determine the wants and desires of each group of stakeholders. This can be done in forums, surveys or small group meetings. This gives management a better picture of what is wanted as well as giving voice to stakeholders; some of whom would otherwise feel marginalized. The next task would be to put together a small team representing each of the stakeholder groups as well as representatives of corporate management. They would be presented with the results of the forum/survey/meetings. A third party facilitator should be present and guide the team in discussing each stakeholder interest. The initial meeting(s) would be information gathering and a chance to see issues from each stakeholder group's perspective. Subsequent meetings would then discuss and brainstorm ideas to reach compromises that benefit each group. Remember that a compromise is a win win scenario in which all parties give a little to get a little. Most decisions and agreements in life are not black and white, but shades of gray. Each group of stakeholders must be willing to step into the gray zone and not expect everything they desire. The idea of including stakeholders in the decision making process makes each group feel they are being heard. It also improves the chances of success in actions decided because of mutual buy-in by all stakeholder groups. This is why families use this approach especially in dealing with family rules. After a reasonable amount of time, which will depend upon the issue, the situation should be analysed to see if tweaks need to be done. The team could meet again or another team selected to see what new ideas could be generate.

sweet-ann [11.9K]

If a beneficiary is enrolled in a MA-only PPO and they also sign up for a PDP plan, they will be automatically dropped from their MA plan is a "True" statement.

What is PPO plan?

PPOs are a form of health plans that let members see medical professionals both inside and outside the plan's network. Members can just use services outside the network, but doing so will result in increased out-of-pocket expenses and a possible lack of coverage for specific services.

Some key features of PPO are-

 • All health insurance companies have agreements with clinics and facilities to treat their members.
 • The term "network providers" or "in-network providers" refers to these medical professionals, who might comprise PCPs, specialists, and sometimes even institutions like labs, hospitals, or urgent care facilities.
 • PPO members are insured for care both from in- and out- of-network providers, but they will pay more for the in providers and less for in-network doctors and hospitals.

What is MA plan?

Another option for getting your Medicare Both A B coverage is through Medicare Advantage Plans.

Some key features of MA plan are-

 • Medicare-approved private enterprises that offer Medicare Advantage Plans, often known as "Part C" or "MA Plans," are required to abide by the rules established by Medicare.
 • Many Medicare Advantage Plans cover prescription drugs (Part D). You'll typically have to work with medical professionals who are covered by the plan's network.
 • These plans have a cap on how much you must spend out-of-pocket for covered services each year.

Johansen Corporation uses a predetermined overhead rate based on direct labor-hours to apply manufacturing overhead to jobs. The
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

Predetermined manufacturing overhead rate= $2.5 per direct labor hour

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Jameson estimates that 20,000 direct labor-hours will be worked during the year.

Rent on factory building......................$15,000

Depreciation on factory equipment......$8,000

Indirect labor.......................................$12,000

Production supervisor's salary.............$15,000

First, we need to calculate the estimated overhead costs:

estimated overhead costs= Rent on factory building + Depreciation on factory equipment + Indirect labor + Production supervisor's salary

estimated overhead costs= 15,000 + 8,000 + 12,000 + 15,000

estimated overhead costs= $50,000

Now, we can determine the predetermined overhead rate:

Predetermined manufacturing overhead rate= total estimated overhead costs for the period/ total amount of allocation base

Predetermined manufacturing overhead rate= 50,000 / 20,000

Predetermined manufacturing overhead rate= $2.5 per direct labor hour

Lynn has an account that ears interest at annual rate of 5% percent. Interest is compounded quarterly. Lynn’s account is $4000.
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

Ending balance in account = $4,203.8 (Approx.)

Explanation:

Given:

Starting balance in account = $4,000

Rate of interest annually = 5%

Number of year = 1

Find:

Ending balance in account

Computation:

Compounded quarterly

So,

Number of interest period = 1 x 4 = 4

Rate of interest quarterly = 5% / 4 = 1.25% = 0.0125

So,

A = P[1+r]ⁿ

Ending balance in account = 4,000[1+0.0125]⁴

Ending balance in account = 4,000[1.0125]⁴

Ending balance in account = 4,000[1.05094]

Ending balance in account = 4203.76

Ending balance in account = $4,203.8 (Approx.)
