Soluble is when some kind of 'thing' can dissolve in water or to be honest any kind of liquid. For example, nitrate is always soluble because it dissolves every time you react it.
And yes, when you look at a word too much, you do get the feeling if the word is actually a word or not XD

What is the electron configuration of a ground-state cr atom? 1s22s22p63s23p64s14d5 1s22s22p63s23p64s23d4 1s22s22p63s23p63d6 1s2
prisoha [69]

The electronic configuration of a ground-state Cr-atom :

1s²2s²2p⁶3s²3p⁶4s²3d⁴

What are electronic configurations?

The arrangement of an atom's or molecule's (or other physical structure's) electrons in their atomic or molecular orbitals is known as the electron configuration in atomic physics and quantum chemistry. For instance, the neon atom's electron configuration is 1s² 2s² 2p⁶, which means that 1, 2 and 6 electrons, respectively, are present in each of the 1s, 2s, and 2p subshells.

According to electronic configurations, each electron moves individually within an orbital while being surrounded by an average field produced by all other orbitals. Slater determinants or configuration state functions are used to mathematically characterize configurations.

If you start a chemical reaction with 5 atoms of helium, how many atoms will you have after?
Ivenika [448]

Answer:

5 atoms

Explanation:

When a chemical reaction starts with 5 atoms of hydrogen, and the reaction goes into completion, it must give us 5 atoms of hydrogen.

This is in compliance with the law of conservation of mass which states that "in a chemical reaction, matter is neither created nor destroyed but converted from one form to another".

In chemical reactions, bonds are broken and new compounds are formed in the process. The same number of species at the start and end of the reaction must still be the same.

Atomic mass Ti = 47.867 a.m.u

47.867 g ---------------- 6.02x10²³ atoms
33 g --------------------- ??

33 x ( 6.02x10²³) / 47.867 => 4.15x10²³ atoms
